Not only is our open-air gym in a fabulous location on the doorstep of Rawai Beach, but we also have some of the best Muay Thai teachers in Thailand.

And if you’re training for the first time, don’t worry: we are very passionate about teaching Muay Thai, ESPECIALLY to beginners. That’s why we make sure to teach techniques step-by-step to ensure you grow with the right foundation in The Art of Eight Limbs. You will feel right at home in our gym, as English is widely spoken, and we will definitely make sure you’ll feel part of the team immediately.

Our teaching philosophy is always quality over quantity. That’s the reason why we only have a few slots available for each class as we believe that each athlete deserves personal attention.

You will find our classes and lessons challenging, but also fun and enjoyable. Not only will you leave with a better knowledge of Muay Thai, but you will also make lasting friendships and memories that you will cherish forever. A true, WORLD-CLASS experience!

Really awesome experience, 100% recommend👍🏽 We tried the Saturdays free beginners class which are given by the owner himself. I never tried any martial arts before and to be honest didn't know much about Muay Thai either, but loved the class very much. The trainer has taught us the basics of the Muay Thai and also shared some interesting facts and history. He made the class not only informative but entertaining too, everyone seemed to have fun. The whole vibe of the place is very positive and warm, the owner and his wife really built and keep it beautiful. Thank you Phuket Muay Thai!❤️

Passionate team of professional trainers, there is a great atmosphere in this place each time I train there. They all speak English so they can actually explain the techniques to you. Each lesson you get quite a few rounds with all of the trainers so you 'll always get a feedback on your stance, punches and kicks. Also, the free Saturday lesson for beginners with Bryan is a great thing and wortwhile taking, too. Cannot recommend enough..

I trained at Phuket Muay Thai for two weeks and had an amazing experience. The trainers here are wonderful! All levels are welcome! They will teach everything from basics to high level technique. Unlike many other gyms in the area, Phuket Muay Thai provides a much more intimate experience. Class sizes are much smaller allowing for more individual attention. I took advantage of the affordable private training to enhance my experience. I can’t wait to come back again and train this coming year.

I would highly recommend the free beginners class on a Saturday. For those of you who don't know, Kru Brian is an accomplished trainer from the USA. Kru Brian loves muay thai and he loves teaching, you see his passion from the start of the class to the finish. Listening to him speak he already understands the Muay Thai situation in Phuket. Its difficult for the beginners to walk into a gym with zero experience without worrying about being judged or sparring hard etc. Typically this is not the case in any Muay Thai gym (except a small number of terrible gyms) but it is especially not case at Phuket Muay Thai. This makes PMT the perfect gym for short term vacationers to come and try Muay Thai for the first time. Additionally, he understands that muay thai trainers see alot of students come and go and as a consequence can get disheartened and not put the time into teaching them. However he has hand picked a team of trainers who love Muay Thai and treat every student in the gym the same. Aside from the training we joked that this might just be in once of the best locations in the world, on Rawai Beach. You can walk out of the ring and be swimming in the sea in about 60 seconds (if you wish) I look forward to training in the group classes in the future, this is a really exciting gym and exactly what Phuket was missing. We went to the saturday morning free beginner class and had a great time! Trainer was the owner, 50+ years experience in muay thai assisted by his fighter Max. The class was fun, relaxed and serious with lots of insights, tricks and easy-to-remember drills. My wife did not have any prior experience in fighting whereas I had trained for 4 months a year before and I have to say they really went into details, way more than I ever experienced back home. There is no sparring and you won’t hit or get hit by anyone so don’t be scared and register 🙂 Khop khun khrup 🙏🏻 Stephane and Jeanne 🇫🇷
